Medal Index Card confirms that Ernest Anderton served in the Manchester Regiment. He was Killed in Action 29th April 1917. He served in the 2nd / 8th Battalion, Manchester Regiment. He is remembered with Honour at Sailly-Labourse Communal Cemetery.

He is entitled to a BWM and Victory Medal Pair.

Medal Index Card confirms that Alfred Gould served in the Durham Light Infantry and also served as 566154 Labour Corps.

He is entitled to a BWM and Victory Medal Pair.

7695 Pte P Crowley Rif Brig

Medal Index Card confirms that Philip Crowley served in the Rifle Brigade and was Killed in Action 23rd September 1914.

He entered France 10th September 1914 and is therefore entitled to a full 1914 Mons Star Trio. He died aged 34 years.

He served in the 3rd Battalion and died on the 23rd September 1914, 13 days after arriving in France .

He was the son of Mrs Mary Crowley, 163 Moorland Road, Splott, Cardiff, Wales and is commemorated at La Ferte-Sous-Jouarre Memorial.

Royal Navy lists confirm that Reuben S Lacy is entitled to a Long Service and Good Conduct Medal indexed in 1930 – 1933. Page 104 HMS Gannet.

He is listed as Lacy not Lacey as per medal. He is entitled to a BWM and Victory Pair. And also served on the Ambrose. Roll page 437

He died aged 44 on the 22nd January 1940. Son of Reuben W Lacey and Lucy Lacy. Husband of Irene M Lacey, of Crownhill, Plymouth, Devon. Served on HMS Drake and is buried at Plymouth, Ford Park, Cemetery. He was a Chief Shipwright.
