This bust of Field Marshal Lord Roberts stands 21cm high. It is a very pleasing piece. Below are some close ups of the piece and also some contemporary images of Bobs taken from various established Victorian publications. We have pieced this set together to offer it as a whole or in parts.

Lord Roberts being perhaps the most famous and celebrated of the day.

Taken from the Illustrated London News Special Edition of the Transvaal War, or Boer War,  this shows where Lord Roberts wrote from and where he slept whilst in the field.

This is the well known caricature that has Bobs with his field glasses searching fror Kruger. Kruger is profiled in the rocks over Bobs’ left shoulder.

bobs vf1880Each print has either a biopic on the rear or loose leafed. The Transvaal War images obviously have descriptions within the large book.
