The below is a selection of medal recently bought from a Somerset Sale Room. There are some interesting items here and a lot of research to be done.
1914 Mons star Trio – 1914 Star named to 7941 Pte C Coote 1/Bedf:R.
British War and Victory medals named to 7941 Pte C Coote. Bedf:R.
MIC states qualifying date Charles Coote served from 16/8/1914.
Sadly the original ribbons are missing.
1914/15 Star, British War & Victory medals named to 21984 Pte F J Cox. R.W.Fus.
A ROYAL WELSH FUSILIERS TRIO.
With original slip confirming his award of the 1914/15 Star.
1914 Mons star Trio – 1914 Star named to 42714 Gnr E C Dedman RFA.
He served in 36th Royal Field Artillery.
E C Dedman entered France 16th August 1914.
He also served as 42714 Military Foot Police and as P/10001 Military Mounted Police.
His MIC indicates that the BWM and Victory should be named to him as a Military Policeman but they are in fact named to him as a Gunner in the Royal Artillery.
1914/15 Star Trio named to :95860 Dvr-Gnr J Harmsworth RFA/RA

MIC confirms that John Harmsworth entered The Balkans 29th September 1915 and is entitled to a full Trio.
Star is named to Dvr (Driver) and the BWM and Victory to Gnr (Gunner)
A 1914/15 Star, British War & Victory medals named to 21538 Pte D J Phillips. SWB.
A SOUTH WALES BORDERERS TRIO.
Pte David John Phillips enlisted on the 5/1/1915 and was wounded and later discharged on the 13/7/1917. With entitlement to a Silver Wound Badge number 228313.
1914/15 Star Trio named to :66651 Pte G Robinson RAMC
MIC confirms that George Robinson served in the Royal Army Medical Corps and entered France 18th November 1915.
British War & Victory medal pair named to: 201333 Pte E J Sims. 3rd London Regt.
MIC confirms that Edward J Sims served also as Private 739004 24th London Regiment
British War & Victory medal pair named to: 6010 Pte W H Spicer. 7th London Regt.
MIC confirms that William H Spicer enlisted 29th November 1915, he served also as Private 352679 7th London Regiment
1914/15 Star Trio named to : 9107 Gnr H Walton RFA/RA
MIC confirms that Harold Walton entered France 28th November 1915 and is entitled to a full Trio as shown here.
British War & Victory medal pair named to: 4315 Pte J E Ward 6th London Regt.
MIC confirms that John E Ward served also as Private 321808 6th London Regiment
