First World War Medals to a Royal Sussex Regiment Private killed in action aged 20yrs.

Via Flickr:World War One 1914 – 15 Star, British War Medal and Victory Medal Trio named to: G-4213 Pte R C Betts.

Killed In Action (KIA) 9th Battn R Sussex Regt. This is the Royal Sussex Regiment.

Reginald Crane Betts entered France 31st August 1915,  Died 28th June 1916 aged 20 .

The son of William & Ester Betts, Reginald Crane Betts of Paston. North Walsham.

Buried at Kemmel Chateau Military Cemetery in Belgium. The certificate is printed from the superb Commonwealth and War Graves Commission website.

Born and educated at Paston Norfolk, enlisted at Petsworth Suffolk
