Meritorous Service Medal to 34259 S Sjt W Uden 11/F.A. RAMC.

MIC (medal index card confirms that Walter Uden entered France on the 18th November 1914. Walter is Gazetted in the London Gazette twice.

1) Friday the 21st December 1917 for his Mentioned in Despatches. This entry records Walter as Acting Quartermaster Serjeant.

2) Friday the 14th June 1918 for confirmation of his Meritiorious Service Medal Award. This also shows that Walter was from Catford, London.

His MSM card confirms Walter as serving in the 11th Field Ambulance in France.
